Youth Leaders per city

How many youth is enough? How many is too much for the first year? How many youth should come per city or Rotary Club?

Youth Leaders per city

I was thinking that 2 - 5 Rotary Interact students from each city or club should be invited. Each city could then have a Rotary club sponsor that would be responsible for the students during the conference. What do you think?

Thanks to Glenn Hill and George Saenz, we now have numbers from the U.S. side related to District 5930 only.

Options:
Cameron County only – 3 students from each sponsored high school = 15
Cameron and Hidalgo County – 3 students from each sponsored high school = 33
Cameron and Hidalgo County – 2 students from each sponsored high school = 20

Cameron County schools:
Harlingen HS, Harlingen HS South, MMA, James Pace High School (Brownsville) , Raymondville High School, Rivera High School (Brownsville)

Hidalgo County schools:
McAllen High (McAllen), Options High School at Lamar Academy (McAllen), Memorial High School (McAllen), PSJA High School, PSJA Memorial, PSJA North

The list supplied does not show an Interact club in La Feria, South Padre Island, San Benito, Mission, Weslaco, La Joya, or Edinburg.

If this is true, then I think the conference could support both Cameron and Hidalgo County. This also allows us to include Matamoros, Reynosa, Rio Bravo, and Nuevo Progresso. Perhaps Adriana can give us some feedback related to clubs or sponsored schools in each of these cities.

It certainly looks like we could accommodate 2 from each school in both Cameron and Hidalgo Counties.

What are your ideas?
